As I am going to a fairly expensive private school next year, the TrailBlazer will be here to stay.
No W123.
No 4Runner.
No E46.
TrailBlazer.
But for a 13 year old SUV with the largest panel gaps I have ever seen on a vehicle, it isn’t too bad. It’s got a fairly powerful 275 HP I6, RWD, no traction or stability control (does burnouts surprisingly well) and one speaker that works really well along with three that don’t work at all.
My mother won’t let me sell it to buy a vehicle that I like for complicated reasons that I understand, but I don’t see myself having it by next summer.
There’s a new plan for it, though. New stereo system, properly fastening the front bumper, new tires, among a few other things.

Hey I went to fairly expensive private school!
Uniforms suck dick, especially the ones where they mandate what pants you wear. Ew.

10/10
would crash

Thankfully, I’m going to a secular private school that doesn’t require uniforms.

You are very lucky, haha.
There’s nothing like wearing a sweater vest and heavy khakis in a building with no Air con in 90 degree heat.

We have crashed it. Twice. Once, my mother wasn’t paying attention to the vehicle in front of her, and smashed into the rear end. Another time when our friend, who was borrowing it, sneezed really hard and crashed it into a ditch.

10/10
would crash for the third time

This is amazing. I like this a lot. But I don’t have the funds.

Into a tree. At reasonable speeds.

Was that even legal, good lord?

It was horrible.
They also were doing some work on the building when I went there, said building contained dangerous amounts of asbestos.

275 hp I6?! I don't think you'd want a 4Runner after being used to that much power.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I went to a preppy California public high school where they all wore almost nothing.

Pretty much.

Yes, but it’s 275 HP always delivered at the wrong time. And with no safety aids and a high center of gravity, shit gets scary after a while.

I know, I know. Yellow fog lights might become a thing though.
I’ll be blasting some Q and Tyler where ever I go.

Eh, at least you can get out of your own way. My Granddad had a nice 2004 LTZ before he traded it in for a ‘09 Silverado Z71.

D’oh, that sucks. My parents will let me buy whatever I want, I just have to pay for it myself. This means I need a job.
Fuck.

It’s not too terrible. It could’ve been a lot better.

Likewise. I just quit my job at Chick-Fil-A, so I don’t even have the money to buy a car even if I wanted. And my mother won’t let me buy a Santana Land Rover, which is a joke.

Well, his had the 5.3, so I can’t speak as to the performance of the 4.2, but yeah, you could be a lot worse off lol.

I don’t think you cold earn enough at Chick Fil A in a year to buy a Santana. People ask crazy money for those.
My parents aren’t enthusiasts, but they have some jalop blood; my paternal grandparents owned a Peugeot 404 and a VW Beetle, and my maternal grandfather owned both a Dodge Super Bee and a ‘55 Chevy, and my maternal grandmother owned a red Pontiac Tempest convertible.

BTW, is it wrong for me to prefer Recovery to MMLP2? I just prefer the production, and the fact that it feels more suited to Eminem than Rick Rubin’s production.
![]() 05/07/2016 at 19:46 |

Well Rubin is a living legend, but Recovery was...uh...interesting. I was never a fan, but Not Afraid is a classic for sure.

Yeah, the Santana thing was kinda a joke. I do miss CFA, though. Yeah, my grandmother has a Jeep J10 and that’s it.

I know, I was trying to point out how ridiculous the prices on those are. People are paying $15k for what is essentially a square tractor with an interior and a V8. It’s an awesome tractor, but a tractor all the same.

I think that Cinderella Man, Won’t Back Down, and No Love have aged better, tbh.
